A concrete slab is a structured cement layer that is usually flat and horizontal and comes in both uniform and different thickness levels. Concrete slabs can be used both for walls and floors depending upon the requirement.

  4. Waffle Slab: as the name says this type of slab represents a waffle shape with squares engraved upon it. The usage of these waffle slabs is more when a large span is required to be covered and supported with columns.
  5. Solid Slab Raft: this slab usually forms the base of the building, dispersing the load of the walls and column across a larger area. This slab is more appropriate for light-weighted buildings to be constructed on a loose and weak soil base.
